From last year I have been traveling, building a business and developing new relationships around me. Like Beyonce (I still have a love/hate relationship with her), My hiatus has been filled with a journey of doing things that I have always wanted to do to build on creativity and of course to develop a hotter blog with better short stories, fun, romance and fashion fashion fashion! Animal Story: Kelis in multiple Leopard Print

Kelis, fashion daredevil, gutsy, take all prisoners songstress came rushing through the airport in this explosion of fierce plethora of leopard print pieces. In all of my fashioncation (yes: fashion + education = fashioncation)the #1 rule in stone was: Never mix prints. This year that rule has been put on pause by the likes of Rhianna who was seen in a red and gold leopard print Dolce and Gabbana dress; as well as Beyonce. She was seen on her recent vacation with Jay-Z with her mix of ankara prints which recieved many "mixed" reviews.

Kelis's off the first class seat plane style is chic yet simple. I normally would not put them all together but I love them all seperately. The cardigan as seen in the pic on the left is chic enough to wear with a white Brooks Brother's button down shirt, Zara Pencil skirt and Red Christian Louboutin Pigalle Pumps. I would switch out the pencil skirt for a nice pair of denim skinny jeans if I am having a lunch date. The scarf which was on the stroller works for any outfit.

With acquiring a new job and getting hired to run campaigns,multi-tasking which once was my best feature is now becoming a paradox. I am so sorry!! I believe I have made this speech to my readers around this same time last year. My life has been so busy and I am learning so much about many industries, I haven't had time to take care of my baby!!! Okay getting back to the Fashion Honey you love!!!! So I was checking out the weather and it reminded me of when I used to get ready to go back to school. This year has been quite unusual when it comes to weather and I am not going to go into the "Go-Green" speech, that's for tommorrow, but the weather has been quite wierd. Hello ladies and my dear fashionable gents! Happy New Year!! I feel like I have been out of the blogging game for so long. Hmm... What have I missed??... The Giants are going to the Superbowl, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are neck in neck with the Democratic Primaries-- Guiliani and Edwards fell out the race-Louboutins were finally listed on Oprah as one of her faves- Two new Sex in the City spin-offs have launched: Cashmere Mafia and Lipstick Jungle.Lastly, America is in a recession--yay! I guess we are now up to date.

I must start off by apologizing to all of the readers that got interested in fashionhoney and actually became a fan of the site. I draw from inspiration and I blog what I view when I travel in the city. Lately, I have been in and out of the the Fashion City so I have missed alot. But have no fear-- I am back and I am here with a fashion vengenance.

Fashion Honeys... Green is all over the place and is the hottest color for December. Green has been stretched upon the heavenly bodies of Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rhianna and so many other celebs. I miss when you used to wear your lace font wigs and have them nicely shaped with tousled curls-- now all I get is this hobbled weave and it saddens my heart. Hello Fashion Honeys! I went to the Complex Magazine Party about three weeks ago and I forgot to show you the pics-- how vile of me!!! Long overdue-- yet well waited-- Here they are. Check out the pics and commentary below.

The Complex Magazine Party took place at Training Camp on 41st and the Avenue of the Americas in New York City and it was the most popping event I have been to all year. It was sponsored by Honda and they had a theme called "Revelations". Complex Platinum Club and many of the industry's top people were there especially me. Free drinks, Free full body massage, gift bags and hot urban clothing and accessories- you can't go wrong! I got interviewed based on what my revelations were for 2007 and I was very happy to be there. The most fashionable night ever!

I am suprised to see that Shay Shay-- Ashanti's younger sister is looking a hot mess up in Mars 2112.

#1: Cottage Cheese Thighs have never been in fashion. If you suffer from this severe issue wear flesh colored support hoisery. Beyonce does it all the time.

#2. The girl is only 18! Go figures she needs to put on something less sultry-- This outfit makes her look a haggard 28 years old.

#3. Whatever happened to asking your big sis for some makeup and style tips-- please don't tell me all of the greatest things went to her!

I am in shock and saddened for the Glen Cove teenager. I hope she goes to fashion jail. Because of her age I will send her off on misdemeanor charges in the juvenile fashion penitentary.

Spring 2008: Taste the rainbow: Lines inspired by skittles

I am so happy that New York hasn't truly been hit by the likes of a blizzard or freezing temperatures yet. There has to be actually one day last month where I needed a pair of gloves to keep my digits warm. As I was sitting here thinking about my dream vacation-- which I deserve for next year-- I wondered to myself-- "Self what is the latest styles hitting the stores for this spring?" Self decided to check online and view the ready-to-wear shows. As I got back into first person I decided to see what was hot and what will leave for next year!--

Well I realized that patent leather is here to stay and that we are going to be hit with an Alberta Clipper worth of rainbow colors for 2008. I am excited because the creativity landscape will increase and the usage of different textures will arise. I viewed alot of patchwork arise, crocodile, patent leather and beads. We will not be seeing too much of the Color Purple-- (remember purple was the new black from latter summer to latter fall) The incoming 2008 will set the reign for the color pink in many variations. I love purple but I will definitely be looking forward to that pink. Other colors include powder blue and palm leaf green.

I am going to like so miss THE HILLS!!! Lauren Conrad pictured here was the epicenter of the entire show but with her daring cast of friends (my favorites-- Audrina and Whitney) and foes(Spencer and Heidi) you learn that THE HILLS is a classic reality show with a whole lot of drama.

I know it seems weird but I started to stay tuned to this show when Lauren, 21 decided to move to LA to pursue her dream in fashion and show us what life is like when you live the rich and fashionable life. With a die-for internship at Teen Vogue she narrates the show and makes it "as funny as it sounds" believeable that rich people hurt too..!!! HAHAH

Another thing that I loved about THE HILLS was the fashion sense. Brands were schlepped around like a bag of potatos in Idaho and I decided to showcase a montage of them below.

I am so going to miss the Hills and I am hoping that all goes well with Lauren and Brody.

I love my body-- I truly do... I love my body... how about you. I love my shape. I give myself kisses everyday as I get out the shower. I would never trade in my shape for a million bucks. BUUUTTTT!!!-- I have always wanted the appearance of a smaller waist. I don't know whether it was because of the new craze blazing the summer season with all of the high waist dresses, skirts and jeans-- but I feel like I am too young to be trying to wear a girdle. So I say to myself--Self? Should I work out to get that smaller waist or should I just pull a rib out??--lol no ribs are coming out this body-- but I just want to know how I can fake the funk and appear thin in the waist, cute in the face and holding out down with style and grace.

Back to America's Next Top Model. Last week I was so not pleased with the story of the show. Tyra showing models how to crawl on all floors and dance like a stripper was not fierce to me. The last time I remembered Ellen Degeneres has better dance moves than Tyra. Sometimes I forget that Tyra is a little dingbatted but it's cool because it was funny when the queen of intelligence stated the known fact:

Tyra bamboozled us last Wednesday. I think she was all shook up from Ebony telling her that her experience at Top Model was worth a damn. LOL-- Last week Wednesday Tyra gave us a behind scenes look at the boring lives the models lead at the house and of course I was so bored to death I actually anticipated watching Gossip Girl after the foolery was over.

I love Kelly Rowland, but all and I bet most of you agree that Kelly Rowland is slipping and she can not get a grip on her record sales even if she took a dip in a pool of crazy glue. Lately Kelly has been sited poorly promoting her self at various events. Nothing that breaks my heart is the fact that as her record sales are at the approval rate of the war in Iraq, Kelly's fashion is as well heading down South and I mean farther than Texas.

In great news, I had the time to watch America's Next Top Model and I was happy to see that Heather's personality is blossoming right before America's eyes and she is making a name for herself in the modeling industry early in the Top Model competition. Yesterday she won the competition for the Keep A Child Alive Foundation with Carol's Daughter and is now on their website looking very regal and tanned. I can't take all of the credit-- Mary J. Blige ( Singer and Spokeswoman for Carol's Daughter) made an appearance on Top Model for Heather's shoot. It was priceless when she said that she needed tan makeup on Heather. Heather did very well and made Mary and Lisa Price (owner of Carol's Daughter) very proud. To see the campaign, view below:

In other ANTM news, Ebony decided to quit-- 10 minutes before Top Model was over, on pizza and other microwavables, Ebony slouches in the closet corner and says that she wants to go home. Not really a suprise considering that fact that we all knew she couldn't handle criticism. Funny cliffhanger occurs at the end. Tyra chooses Ebony over Ambreal(who no offense really needs to go home) and Ebony tells her that she doesn't want to continue in the competition. Tyra is such a fake. Tyra literally has FBI cameras all over the house. Tyra knew Ebony wanted to go home and that was why she chose Ebony. She wanted to show America that she gives people a chance even though they don't want it. Well, Ambreal got her second chance and she really wanted it.

Lastly, My homegirl Bianca from Queens, NY is killing the short hair do- She is so beautiful and takes great constructive criticism. She kinda has a personality like Bre from the previous three cycles. I enjoy her wit and I hope she ends up in the Final 3. Tyson Beckford who also made an appearance stated that she is "The Top 5". If that means anything I know Tyra will take that in to consideration.

When I check out the stills with her in the ultra sexy and beyond hot purple and silver Herve Leger bandage dress-I was inspired to hit the gym-That dress is wrapping celebrity bodies on red carpets everywhere.

Yes, ya'll I am so glad to bring the true beauty of being a woman to this blog. This blog was inspired by my sweetheart who likes my jogging suits as well as me in just jeans and a t-shirt. Screw Victoria Secret Pink and their overpriced jogging suits--Old Navy is where it's at.

After a hard day at work, I love to slip in my Old Navy Jogging Suits (Debuted: Summer 2007 at Old navy Stores Nationwide) As you see in pics of me modeling my fave colors you can tell that I am at the epitome of ease and relaxation. The jogging suits are very affordable at tops going for $20 and bottoms for $15.

What is so sad is the fact that I wanted these pieces in yellow as well as red, but they are all sold out. :%-- I am not happy, but if you already own it in those colors--you are so lucky. Enjoy it. The weather is going cold and I need to fly south with the birds.

I always loved her style when she was a part of the fantabulous group the Spice Girls, you can tell she loves her shape and enjoys running over racks of clothes. I had a wonderful discussion yesterday based on racism in the sixties and how non-existent is the true idea of integration. I know that this is a fashion site but at the same time-- there is a place where fashion stands as art and then offensive. I love American Apparel, but this was not the best light to be displayed in.. A MAMI Girl!!!-- Sambo MAMA...??? What does having a blackface model do to selling a bunch of stretch shirts. The model was beautiful, there are many ways to display color and this was fairly wrong in my idea. -- ID magazine needs to fire their creative director for this mess.

I know I already did a Loubou post, fine sue me!! I am obsessed with the whole idea that shoes that are that sexy cost so much. I scoured the five boros and finally I decided to do my shoe raid online. I searched on many sites and finally I realized that BEBE has the best prices in consideration for the style.

All of the shoes posted have a heel at the minimum of 4.5 inches. A norm for a passive Loubou wearer as well as have a padded foot bed. The platform on average is at 1.25 giving all of the vertically challenged wearers some height to talk about. These are my fashion honey pics and I hope you enjoy them.

I love this look and I think that I can hold it down. In this pic Kimora Lee Simmons is exuding her beauty as well as making this type of hairstyle work. It is a pretty tough hairstyle to pull off, especially for me considering that I meet with clients every other day at work. I would probably keep my lion mane tamed in diameter. I was so excited when I bought this bag months ago. While everyone else was bandwagonning the Louis Vuitton Monogrammed Speedy-- I was much happier with this one. Much smaller than the Speedy and more angular in shape I was so pleased with my bag. Well one day earlier this year I was out in the snow with this bag. I was so happy with its durablity-- but a couple days later it had this darkening pattern by the edges. I wasn't phased out because the rest of the bag was in tact. I kept over stuffing the bag which of course was my fault. One day I noticed that the bag started to have splices where the zipper to the canvas of the bag meets. I have been so upset since. --So I decided to not be to sad any longer and I bought the Louis Vuitton Manhattan GM bag as seen below. I haven't worn it yet-- but I know that this summer I am going to be the Top Diva in the City.--Holla!!

1. I want to give a shout out to my people's in DC/MD and VA!!! I was able to conquer 8 malls in two weeks out there. Those sales reps were no match for my Platinum Card.
